The RoleThe RoleOur client is currently looking for a Branch Manager at their UAE Site to manage day to day operations of this very busy branch To be successful the employee should be able to demonstrate the following skills: Extensive knowledge of Engineering Production, Projects & Service, Finance, Project Management and Marketing within an Engineering Industry setup. Track record of success in managing the Engineering Production/Service organization with the P & L responsibility. Ability to generate and document processes and procedures. Comprehensive knowledge of ISO and International production standards with a Commitment to continuous improvement in Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment (QHSE). The successful applicant: Shall assume the full P & L responsibility for a branch location, ensuring smooth functioning of the business. Develop and strengthen existing and incremental business, manage sales, develop & expand client base and explore new business opportunities for the company's product range. Ensuring the sales, operations and administrative functions run efficiently and all functions comply with company policy and procedures. Ensure smooth functioning of the branch operation. Plan, develop and implement policies, procedures and practices for the smooth progress. Increase the existing regional business through the existing customer base and projects performed by our client bearing the profitability in mind. Job progress is closely monitored and measures are taken for shortcomings. Identify areas of development within the clients Product/Service range and offer appropriate solutions. Provision of support to the company Sales & Marketing & Technical Team by means of arranging planned & regular sales meetings in order to motivate& increase effectiveness. Identify market opportunities, propose market penetration & expansion strategies. Creation of Business plans/Goals and Objective setting. Plan & manage human resources, plant equipments & other utilities, ensure optimum production/service capability. Control & reduction of overhead costs & undesired expenses while ensuring optimum customer satisfaction. Provision of technical assistance and ensure they are managed & controlled to derive maximum support for production/service activities. Identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and measured against the set targets. Ensure Quality improvements are initiated. Ensure all transactions are bench marked and carried out in compliance with the applicable standards/regulations/codes, Quality (ISO) procedures. RequirementsRequirementsThey are looking for a Technical Graduate Engineering preferred but not essential preferably with a Masters Degree and a Business Management Qualification. They are looking for someone who has previous experience of working in the Middle East and who has previous management experience. They are looking for an excellent Communicator with Advanced communication skills, able to control conversations & create high standard reports. Must be Computer literate with experience of MS Office applications. Other Requirements: Conversant with Engineering Production, Projects and Service jobs. |
