The RoleThe RoleObjective: Provide overall leadership of the PMO permitting specialists to assist the client in obtaining the necessary permits to implement the Strategic Investment Plan and acquire any property required for the construction work. Assist in the development of and provide on-going leadership of the PMO's stakeholder outreach programme. Main responsibilities : Lead the PMO team assisting the client in obtaining permits required to implement SIP. Lead the PMO team assisting the client in acquiring land or easements required to construct the facilities. Work closely with client to develop and implement a stakeholder outreach programme. Set up meetings and deliver presentations to various stakeholder groups, including governmental agencies and authorities, developers, concerned citizen groups, neighborhood groups etc. Provide briefings to client senior management team regarding the stakeholder outreach programme. Assist client in addressing stakeholder complaints during implementation of SIP. Reporting to : Programme Director Subordinates : Permitting Specialists Other interactions : Senior Management Team and client and outside bodies. RequirementsRequirementsB.Sc. in Engineering or related field. M.Sc. preferred. 20 plus years overall experience. 10 years management experience. Middle east experience an advantage. Strong communication skills, assertive and outgoing, self motivated and an appetite to learn/embrace new challenges. |
