The Role


Salary bracket would be 28k to 30k
Other benefits are:
5 day week 0800/0900 - 1700/1800
24 days paid annual vacation

To realise sales potential for CCI products through proactive sales and support strategy for the Middle East office
To build the consumer imaging profile of Middle East by strengthening regional market analysis and sales planning.
To ensure effective communications between Middle East, its Business Partners, Channels, Distributors and Headquarters.
To undertake and complete projects relating to CCI business development.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Please list the main Accountabilities (KPIs) to be performed to achieve the previously stated Objectives
Mid Term Plan
To ensure that the Consumer Imaging team clarify Product information, launch plans and product strategy with CENV to enable CME to provide qualitative and quantitative input to the Mid Term Plan process.
To ensure the Consumer Imaging team contribute to building the knowledge base at CME, as a repository of expertise for Canon¡¦s business and future in the Middle East region.
Market Analysis and Strategy
Analyse market position with reference to competitor positioning in terms of products, pricing, placements and promotions. Use the analysis as a basis for area planning and on-going ¡¥market-in¡¦ performance appraisal.
Work with Canon Europa to formulate and implement more pro-active sales strategies for products and markets across the Middle East region.
Map out and implement the CCI strategy as per the Mid Term Plan.
Implementation
Ensure active involvement of the Consumer Imaging team in coaching and monitoring Canon Middle East Distributors to realise the agreed sales plans and growth objectives.
Ensure that Distributors receive regular support for local and regional initiatives undertaken.
Sales Budgets
Negotiate and set up full regional sales budgets for the Middle East Distributors.
Oversee agreed targets and performance for overall budget achievement, in coordination with Europa.
Monitor and control the KPIs (Sales/GP/Inventory/Expense) of CCI.
Take up operational tasks to include Performance Review, Forecasts and Mid Month estimates for CCI.
Participate in regular update meetings with the GM-Sales and Marketing to clarify direction and share information.
Support
Provide sales and management guidance and support to Middle East Distributors and seek to add value to the Local and Regional business operations.
To provide key support, spokemanship and ambassadorship within the Middle East region.
To oversee and provide full support and guidance to the Consumer Imaging team, as required. Lead the PSS, Channel, Product Management and Country roles within the CCI department to ensure full support and guidance where required.
Operational Tasks
Manage the Sales team to ensure completion of monthly tasks and achieve the qualitative aspects of Area Management and Area Strategies.
Ensure the Product Management team carries out the functionality of Product Planning, Product Training and Sales along with inventory, budgets, GP and appropriate Product Strategies.
Manage, assist and support the PSS team when required.
Play a key role in the Management team to build the profile as powerful in the eyes of the end user.
Ensure that there is standardisation in terms of IT system functionality for Sales and Marketing.
Liaise, internally and externally, to highlight processes and ensure all stakeholders understand and buy-in to the CME vision.
Take responsibility for, and implement, the Channel Marketing function to ensure that the focus is relevant and that it achieves the aims of the creation of the function as envisaged by the CCI Manager.
Manage, support and assist the direct report Representative Office function when required.
Other
Ensure that the internal team is working harmoniously and cooperatively and create the same environment between CCI and other departments.
Complete the Performance Management system for all direct reports within the given timescale and ensure that all objectives are SMART. Complete the process at year-end and make recommendations to senior management re CCI personnel as required.
Any other tasks related to the CCI Manager function as required.

Previous Experience and Education
„h 7 years experience in the Consumer Imaging field at (3yrs at management level) ¡V desirable.
„h Relevant recognised formal qualifications preferably to University level - desirable.
„h A background and knowledge of business machines - essential.
„h Fluency in written and spoken English - essential, knowledge of Arabic - desirable.
„h High level of written and spoken communications required - essential.
„h Professional appearance, attitude and communication style - essential.
„h Familiarity with MS Office, Email and Internet - essential.
