The Role
The role and purpose of the On-Boarding & Induction Assistant within HR is to ensure that the relocation to Kuwait is as smooth as possible for both the new employee and his/her family. The individual also plays a critical role by ensuring that the new employee's integration into new work and life environment are as smooth as possible. The On-Boarding & Induction Assistant acts as a vital connection between the new employee, the Business Units, Recruiting, and the Government Services Department.
To make initial contact with the new employee and brief on the exit formalities from his/her country and the entry process to Kuwait
To gather and understand the new employee's specific requirements and assist with the residency in Kuwait
To liaise with Government Services, assisting the new employee throughout the residency process, including regular contact, attestation of relevant documents, relocation travel arrangements, obtaining a Kuwait driving licence, family residency, schooling, housing and more
To liaise with the business units to keep them fully informed of status, for the purpose of a seamless integration into the Alghanim community
To keep up to date with new legislation, via the Government Services department, that will effect the on-boarding processes
To continuously develop the on-boarding and induction roles and responsibilities and to document key processes
To liaise with the business units to gather information and understand the interviewee/new employee's specific needs to assist with the familiarisation tour of Kuwait
Induction of new employees upon their arrival and during first weeks of their stay in Alghanim Industries
To welcome new employees to the company and support them in familiarisation with our organization
