The Role


The Role

The position requires high level skills in management of a busy Procurement Department.

The ideal candidate shall have experience in procurement of Electrical, Instrumentation and HVAC materials & equipment, and shall be responsible for creating and implementing a value-added procurement strategy, structuring procurement contracts, determine inventory levels, etc.

The chosen candidate shall have proven track record in communication, negotiation and people management skills and a strong understanding of procurement, stores management and material planning, and should be able to work on own initiative and within a team.

Requirements

Diploma/degree in engineering discipline and preferably be a member of Chartered Instituted of Purchasing & Supply or equivalent with 10 years experience, 5 years of which must be at senior level.

Should be computer literate and have sound knowledge of international standards relevant to procurement related activities.
