The RoleThe RoleMain Objectives: To implement the five year strategic plan by: * Communicating the formulated strategy and jointly overseeing its execution as part of the SPMO. * Coordinating with strategy teams across all functions to ensure that all functional areas are aligned with the organization's overall strategy and plan. * Ensuring that strategy remains a high priority for senior management and the board of directors. Main Activities & Function: * Actively participate in the achievement of the organization's strategic goals and objectives. * Oversee the overall strategic planning and fund-wide performance management processes, including setting KPIs for each functional area. * Monitor the implementation of strategic initiatives and provide feedback to manager pertaining to their fulfilment and alignment with the overall strategy. * Facilitate the development of new & creative ideas and oversee special projects (at the discretion of the Manager). * Participate in Management Committee meetings to update the committee at the request of the Manager. Main Responsibilities As part of the SPMO team: * Translate the strategy into Operational terms * Align the organisation to the strategy * Motivate to make strategy everyone's job * Govern to make strategy a continuous process |
RequirementsRequirementsRequired Experience, Skills and Competencies * Degree or Diploma in Business, Finance and/or Strategy Management preferred * Minimum 5 years related experience and/or training in Strategy Management, including knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources. * Minimum 5 years experience in managing individuals and teams, setting business goals, resource planning and managing overall employee performance. * Strong listening and communication skills. * Excellent interpersonal skills. * Strong analytical capabilities. * Ability to effectively organize and structure project-related activities (as part of the implementation of the Fund's strategic plan). * Professional and effective written and oral communication skills in the English language. * Demonstrate strong work ethics, integrity, and professional conduct. * Masters degree in Business Administration (preferred). * Experience in implementing the Balanced Scorecard a distinct advantage. |
