The Role

Main Objectives

* Ensure that the organisation's system of internal control and the quality of performance in carrying out the responsibilities are adequate and effective.
* Establish a formal written charter defining the purpose, authority and responsibility of the internal audit department that will be approved by the management as well as accepted by the Board.
* As appropriate, works with all Managers to implement recommended changes. Acts as liaison with the organization's outside auditors and regulatory organizations

Required Experience, Skills and Competencies

* To be able to investigate, identify and resolve problems.
* Ability to compile and produce reports.
* Good Internal Customer Service.
* Ability to carry out staff appraisals and evaluations
* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and written Modern internal Audit techniques
* General knowledge of pensions, pension fund administration and accounting
* Fluency in English and Arabic
* CA, CPA or CIA qualification
* Good skills in working with Microsoft Office
* Ability to maintain composure in difficult situations
* Strong personality, non-compliant person
* Good communication and reporting skills
* Ability to develop, implement and communicate procedures and policies
* Eight years of professional experience
* Five years of professional experience in an audit function
