The RoleThe RoleOur client is looking for a global markets product accountant to support there explosive growth within the region. The individual will be required to lead Global Markets trading activity, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory reporting requirements, in support of Head of Global Markets Product Control. You will be responsible for the control and maintenance of the accounting & financial reporting systems and processes within Global Markets trading, and for the preparation and accuracy of its financial reports. |
RequirementsRequirementsQualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years in Banking / Financial Services. Sound knowledge of Global Markets products (products traded including Structured Credit, Interest Rate Derivatives, FX, Non Deliverable Forwards, Futures, Asset Swaps, Fixed Income and SIV's) & transactions and have knowledge of relevant banking regulations. Should be conversant with IAS 39 & IFRS7, and perform hedge effectiveness under IAS 39 |
