Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Provide the analysis required to determine – and ensure overall optimization of long-term (> 5-yr) feedstock sourcing needs on the basis of SBU input for both existing plants (out-of-Kingdom, domestic), and new plants.

• Evaluate and recommend the optimum ways of utilizing available and potential alternative feedstock that can be utilized for Petrochemical production such as Naphtha, Condensate and any other Refinery products and by-products.

• Explore evaluate the possible potential synergies between all refinery projects and SABIC's production facilities in &out side Kingdom.

• Prepare assumptions on feedstock requirements for the corporate planning process based on SABIC’s Long-Term Plan.

• Monitor/forecast evolution of pricing of feedstock and asses the impact on SABIC overall profits.

• Explore and work with S. Aramco for potential opportunity for JV in Kingdom and outside Refinery/Petrochemical business.

• Based on investment analysis provided by the concern Depts. & SBU's, make recommendations where to direct basic feedstock by looking at scarce feedstocks and their potential return (covers long term requirements as per SABIC’s Long-Term Plan).

• Support exploration and development of plans for utilization of potential and available refinery products and by-products in the Kingdom as a Petrochemical feedstock.

• Support development of plan for grid system to transport feedstock to SABIC's affiliates.

• Oversee transfer of short-term (this year and next year) optimization capability when “load-shedding” program is ready.

• Take ownership of own career and skill development by constantly maintaining and increasing subject matter expertise in both general and required specialization areas.
• Willingness to Train & support and transfer his knowledge to Saudi employees

Requirements


• University degree (PHD) Major: Chemical Engineering & Petroleum Engineering.

• Experience and knowledge in the Petrochemicals business, Petroleum & Gas fields such as Refining Process not less than 20 years.
