The Role

Job Requirements
1. Development of post-processing tools in Delphi 7 with interface to Sybase DB and Mysql DB
2. Design and developing new interfaces between all network elements
IN ,NSS,BSS,VMS,.. and Optima performance management tool
3. Installation and administration of Optima tool (Installing DB,User client,..).
4. Developing new SQL Module
5. Design new Management reports
6. Design new technical reports for OMC team.
7. Design and Developing Oracle Database.
8. Development scripts on Solaris.
9. Define and configuring new performance measurement Tasks on BSS,NSS,IN,VMS,....
10. Identify training path for development of local engineers On programming ,development , performance tool Administration and configuring new performance measurement Tasks
11. Working with the ASIACELL departments to offer the level of technical support required
12. Follow up with vendors on outstanding issues
13. Tool investigation, evaluation and implementation
14. New feature investigation, evaluation and implementation
15. Managing evolution to new technologies hardware and software

Requirements

Qualification & skills:
1. Knowledge: A specialized technologist with graduate level (engineering) on Computer Science, with developing and problem solving abilities. Lateral thinking and general systems-interconnectivity knowledge is a must. Process engineering skills required.
2. Graduate level (engineering)
3. 3 -5 years working experience in a senior engineering role
4. Advanced Knowledge on design and administration Oracle DB, MySQL, SYBASE.
5. Knowledge of programming
6. Advanced Knowledge on programming languages: PL SQL, Delphi ,C++
7. Advanced Knowledge on scripting over Solaris and DOS.
8. Advanced knowledge on Network performance tools specially OPTIMA Tool
9. Advanced Knowledge on IT network ,Servers and router Configuration, Experience
With enterprise backup, anti-virus, patch-management.
10. Knowledge on GSM protocols, procedures and interfaces. (BSS, NSS, VAS)
11. Knowledge of English and/or French (Arabic, Kurdish are desirable)
12. Ability to work Independently and responsibly in pressure situations
13. Leadership and staff management skills
14. Analytical, lateral thinking and problem solving skills
15. Strong people handling skills, and especially in an inter-cultural environment
16. Ability to work in hardship environments
17. Computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft word, Excel and MS project
