Job description / Role
Halcrows Water and Power Business Group is currently seeking 3 Project Managers to work within the Water and Wastewater Skill Group in Sharjah, UAE.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of projects or packages entailing: programme development and monitoring, definition of deliverables in detail, managing the interfaces between multi-disciplinary design elements, technical hub on smaller jobs, technical support to project team on larger jobs, and design clacs and general arrangements for gravity networks (foul and storm drainage). This role may also require you to provide design review support to other projects, provide technical specialist input to other departments, supply of information to local business development team and provide technical assistance to sites.
Requirements
The Successful candidate must have a degree in Civil Engineering. An MSc/ M Eng or a good honours degree, member of the ICE or equivalent and an Arabic speaker would be considered desirable.
It is essential that the successful candidate has proven experience in drainage design and project management, mixture of site and design experience and has the ability to deliver to time, budget and quality. Project management experience of this type of work with a consultant in the UAE, a comfortable undertaking either report or proposal writing would be preferred.
The successful candidate must be willing to learn, adaptable, have the drive and focus to get things done to budget and deadlines.
