Job description / Role
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION IS FOR A SKILLED AND EXPERIENCED QUANTITY SURVEYOR WITH MEP EXPERIENCE
Objective:
To provide professional QS services within the company as a means of managing project costs and variations.
Main responsibilities :
Setting up of tender and project bills for Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing for high rise, malls, schools, warehouse type of buildings.
Act as the project QS based on site when required.
Ensure all project QS requirements such as monthly billings, variation reports, final account are completed accurately and on time.
Reporting to :
Procurement Manager / Project Manager
Subordinates : Assistant QS (in the future)
Duration : indefinite
Desired start date : ASAP, no later than end May
Probation : 6 months
Working hours : 8 - 5, Sat to Wed, 8 - 1 Thurs
Gross monthly base salary : To be negotiated
Other Benefits : To be negotiated
Requirements
University qualifications :
QS preferred, Electrical or Mechanical ok
Previous experience :
MEP QS role for at least 4 years.
Specialist knowledge :
MEP building systems
Other Skills :
Good communication, planning and thinking.
