Job description / Role
The Water and utilities is currently seeking a senior engineer with surface water drainage experience to join the water and wastewater team in Sharjah, UAE.
In this role you will be involved in surface water drainage projects: from concept to detailed design, reviewing the work of others, managing project teams, interfacing with clients (both internal and external), ensuring technical quality of deliverables, and Managing programmes of deliverables. You may also be required to assist with preparation of offers, assist with staff development and with mentoring of staff
Requirements
It is essential that the successful candidate has a degree in a relevant subject and have reached chartered status (or equivalent).
The successful candidate must also have experience in surface water design, proven project management capability and experience with some surface water design software. Experience in the Middle East and an Arabic speaker would be preferred.
The successful candidate must be able to work independently and manage a team, be able to prioritise and cope with changing priorities.
