Role/Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Plant Manager, together you will have overall management responsibility for over 1000 staff based on the Island. Specifically, you will, plan, direct, manage and coordinate the Production Division activities to ensure that all production targets are effectively met and that the plant is operated and maintained safely and efficiently. The successful candidate must have strong and practical experience in the following:

- Reviews and endorses for Plant Manager's approval annual production programme based on Company's Performance Management Contract (PMC) to ensure that all production targets are achieved and the Plant and equipment are operating safely and efficiently with minimum production opportunity losses. Production plan prepared based on minimum or no impact on ADMA-OPCO production plan through the capture of Associated Low Pressure gases (LP) and reliable operation of the LNG processing units.
- Directs and provides overall supervision over the planning and coordination of overhaul programmes. Includes considering the supply of feed gas, levels in storage tanks, overhaul scheduled elsewhere, etc., synchronizing timetables and ensuring equipment is prepared for overhaul according to the agreed programme.
- Assists the Plant Manager with respect to the coordination work of the Division with Projects, I&Q Division and Engineering Division regarding the short/long term planning of the Division's activities and the needs of the ADGAS Plant.

Requirements

Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company Ltd. (ADGAS) was established in 1973 to turn gas, extracted from Abu Dhabi's offshore field's crude oil, into a new source of marketable energy. ADGAS is a successful multinational consortium in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) responsible for the production of LNG, Propane, Butane, Paraffinic Naphtha (C5+) and Sulphur from its state of the art facility on Das Island in the Arabian Gulf, located 160 KMs north-west of Abu Dhabi City; the capital of UAE.

The candidate:

- B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering with fifteen years experience of process plant operations in oil refining, petrochemical or gas processing industry, five years of which should be in a similar role/senior managerial level.
- Strong People Management, Leadership and Team building skills with good inter-personnel, problem-solving and decision making capabilities.
- The ability to work cohesively with a dynamic team in a lead role
- Fluent in written and spoken English, high level of computer literacy with good presentation skills
- Knowledge of the business environment in the UAE and/or Gulf region would be highly regarded
