Job description / Role
Leading UAE based retail bank require an experienced Java/J2EE software developer. You will be involved in development of Java based applications and at any one time will be involved in multiple projects. As well as having knowledge of Java you should also have good SQL Server/Sybase/Oracle knowledge as well as being familiar with UNIX operating systems such as Solaris and Linux. You will have excellent trouble shooting skills, an in depth understanding of object oriented programming and excellent communication skills. Previous experience within a Financial organisation highly advantageous.
Requirements
You will be degree educated and have several years experience in IT with more than 5 years experience as a software developer. You will be a highly motivated individual who is able to work independently and mentor/lead other team members. You will have a positive attitude and be a confident professional. You should have a willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges as well as being able to work under pressure in a constantly changing working environment.
