My client is internationally recognised as providing essential information for anyone doing business in, or with, the Middle East and North Africa, with a network of journalists and contacts across the entire Middle East and North Africa region. Job objectives

To offer relevant subscription solutions/proposals for Client Projects to clients within a specified territory ensuring that sales targets are reached and exceeded where possible

To report day to day to the Head of Sales, Client Projects to ensure comprehensive territory coverage and monitoring of new business for the team is taking place and that any problems/help can be given by the Head of Sales and/or General Manager.

Duties

To present personal sales figures accurately at weekly sales meeting.
The complete other reports as directed by the Head of Sales, Client Projects.
To use the Maximiser database correctly and effectively.
To Liaise with the Editorial and Research team wherever necessary in order to ensure the smooth running of relationships with existing and potential clients.
To ensure that a minimum of 10 client visits are achieved per week and that regional travel is planned and pre-approved by the Head of Sales and General Manager.
To ensure that relevant training is received.
To be aware of and communicate market trends and client intelligence to other members of the team
To ensure that all subscriptions are sold at required yield.
To ensure that problems are dealt with swiftly and efficiently at minimum cost to Client Projects.
To ensure that subscriptions are only accepted from credit worthy clients
To attend relevant shows, exhibitions and conferences

Requirements

The right candidate will have extensive experience of sales & subscriptions, within media publications. He or she is likely to be a leader, with knowledge of territory sales and appreciation of a target driven environment
