Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Investment Bank in the Middle East requires a Compliance Manager. The role requires to assist the Head of Group Compliance to ensure that all Group entities are aware of regulatory requirements, assisting in a culture of compliance within the Group, assist with drafting compliance policy and procedures, assist with documentation approval process, compliance reviews, be the key compliance contact for external and internal regulatory/compliance matters and act as a back up for the AML manager

Requirements

University qualifications : Bachelors or Masters
Previous experience : Proven track record in Compliance/Legal and or Banking/Finance (Ideally 3 + years)

Specialist knowledge : UAE regulations
Compliance policy and procedures
AML
Ideally Fluent in Arabic
Other Skills : Good communication skills
Proactive approach
Ability to gain consensus on compliance topics
Language Skills : English and ideally Arabic although Arabic not essential
