The Role
Because of Nakheel's continued success, there are now recruiting for a number of key roles, including a Urban/Town Planner. Your role will include reviewing and advising on large-scale master plans, and urban design concepts. You will provide advice to project managers on overall quality of master and land use with focus on issues of compatibility, feasibility, and sustainability. You will also provide advice and assist in the development of urban design guidelines and development control regulations.
Requirements
The Person
Ideal candidate will be well educated and have a bachelor degree in Architecture with post graduate studies in Town Planning. This should be supported by Five to seven years demonstrated experience in urban planning practice, preferably in physical or land use planning. Ideal candidates will come from a public or private sector background with experience of dealing with a wide variety of planning applications of varying sizes. You should be proficient in all relevant applications. You will also have the ability to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organisational skills and interpersonal skills. The ability to handle multiple tasks and strong communication and presentation skills including fluent written and spoken English is also essential.
This role is located Internationally and outside of the UK and therefore is exempt from age discrimination legislation
