Job description / Role
SCOPE OF ROLE:
Assume responsibility for all aspects of the allocated portfolio of existing clients and development of new relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/CHALLENGES:
Develop and maintain a portfolio of existing and target corporate clients and maximize relationship revenues within acceptable risk parameters.
Sell/market the full complement of Wholesale Banking products/services offered by the bank to corporate clients in co-operation with product partners & specialists.
Build relationships with clients key decision-makers and fully understand client needs and strategic goals.
Keep abreast of significant developments in the area of geographic responsibility as well influencing factors for the purpose of assessing potential risks and business opportunities.
Maintain portfolio credit quality and ensure compliance with Group Policies and Country Underwriting Standards.
Ensure regular scorecard and limit application renewals.
Accept accountability for credits recommended.
Requirements
SELECTION CRITERIA:
University level qualifications in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Banking or Graduate (MBA) / CA.
Experience in Client Relationship business of which at least 2 years in Excellent selling/credit skills.
Working knowledge of cash management, trade and global markets products, documentation and associated risks.
Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions for client needs.
Teamwork, decision-making and strong inter-personal skills.
Ability to interact at a senior level within clients organization.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation handling skills & CSA qualification.
Previous experience of dealing with Middle Market clients would be a considerable advantage.
