Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels is a globally integrated hotel real estate services team, operating across more than 24 offices in 14 countries. Our office in Dubai covers the whole of the Middle East and North Africa and provides comprehensive integrated expertise, including asset management, transaction, and advisory & valuation services to hotel investors and hotel companies locally, regionally and globally.

This position will entail carrying out consultancy work on behalf of our clients and support senior staff in strategic advisory work. The Vice President will actively support, supervise and ensure the necessary quality control of the analyst team in co-operation with the Senior Vice President. Furthermore, the candidate will identify and secure new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out specialised assignments, including:
o Asset Management
o Valuations
o Operator selections and contract negotiations
o Support brokers in asset disposals
• Supporting senior colleagues in strategic advisory assignments, such as the development of business models, investment strategies and operating platforms
• Supporting and supervising the analyst team and ensuring the quality control of its outputs in cooperation with the Senior Vice President
• Coaching and training junior colleagues
• Maintaining schedule of work, ensuring all deadlines are met
• Identifying and securing new business opportunities
• Conducting pitches for new business and preparing business proposals
• The candidate may be required to undertake other duties from time to time as we may reasonably require

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree educated as a minimum, MBA or equivalent preferable
• 6-7 years proven hospitality advisory and/or hotel management experience
• A solid understanding of hospitality finance and accounting is essential
