Our Client is a leading international telecom provider.
Key Purpose of the Role:
Deal Architects create and manage complex value propositions. They are responsible for ensuring that all aspects of a solution (including technical, operational and commercial designs) fit together in a consistent manner and satisfy the business requirements and other objectives of the customer. This is a strategic client facing role focused on an individual opportunity basis championed through to contract signature unlike the Account Manager relationship which has much greater longevity with their accounts.

Principal Responsibilities:
• Work with the account team in qualifying the opportunity, deriving the initial value proposition structure and determine the win strategy
• Attend customer meetings in order to understand, document and assess the customer's business requirements
• Attend customer meetings within accounts to promote how key elements of company's mission, vision and above all, value proposition can be relevant to solving the client's business needs.
• Lead major complex negotiations with customers in conjunction with nominated members of the virtual bid team as required
• Take responsibility for the overall pricing strategy with support from bid manager and finance analyst
• Manage the internal sign-off process with the bid manager and build the virtual bid team
• Identify and analyse the products, services and solutions to be offered, including financing options and third parties
• Work with the account team to identify, qualify and develop future opportunities e.g. Technology road mapping
• To be aware of the need to safeguard sensitive customer information at all times, so that customers perceive the company to be a trustworthy organisation
• The day to day role of the Deal Architect (DA) can vary as greatly as the content of any given Value Proposition. In each case, the DA works with all interested parties, ensuring that the technical and commercial solutions meet customer needs and champion this opportunity through to contract signature.
