Its four business sectors operating in these three core areas already boast leading market positions, and intends further to expand these on a global basis. Its approach here will be one of driving organic sales growth complemented by growth derived from selected acquisitions



Main Tasks

Achieve total region's brand (category) target in terms of volume, market share, and profit through developing the short and long term strategy for the brand on a regional level and guiding implementation



Level of responsibility :

Budget : Overall regional coordination of spending
Product : 2-4 brands at a regional level


Detailed job description :



Steering:

Develop short and long term strategy of the SBUs/ categories / brands at a regional level in
light of the growth strategy of the region.

Manage the planning process at a regional / global level between country needs and the global SBU processes.
Develop and communicate the brand's initiative pipeline based on the overall company's innovation program.
Manage major regional launches / initiatives to ensure successful implementation across the whole region.


Information:

Analyze the overall region's performance of his categories / brands and report on progress and key issues to the regional management.
Gather and share learnings on best approaches and practices between the region's countries
Identify and exploit synergies between the countries to maximize initiative success and ROI.


Know-how:

Develop his own as well as the country teams' knowledge about the products and technologies in his brands.
Act as a consultant for the region's teams on global learnings and liaise with other regions on best approaches.
Work with the rest of the regional teams to coordinate and consult the country teams in key


Special Tasks :

Could be assigned to handle specific tasks on a project management basis.functional areas like media, research, packaging and company processes.

Base Country : UAE - Dubai

Countries under responsibility : Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Syria,

Lebanon, Israel, Iran, Turkey & GCC countries

Frequency of travel: Twice per quarter (on average)

Fluent in Arabic

Requirements

Education & Experience

MBA preferable -- high degree university graduate
4-6 years experience in brand management of a top notch FMCG company.
Technical knowledge :
Copy development
Proven record of strategic analysis
Promotions (4-6 on-pack promotions)
Re-launches/ launches (2- 3 SKUs)
In-field direct activities (2-3 SKUs)
Basic sales knowledge
Strong financial analysis capabilities.


High leadership, problem solving, project management skills, and strategic decision making.
Strong internal and external communication skills, presentation skills, influencing skills.
