AutoCAD Draughtsman

Job description / Role

1. To collect all information relevant to design.

2. Site visits to ascertain design restraints as necessary.

3. Produce design and drawings in accordance with recognised standards.

4. Satisfy scheme requirements, considering commercial factors.

5. Make use of available material where necessary.

6. Design aiming for efficient labour use.

7. Provide bill of materials for pricing purposes.

8. Modify or rework designs as required by project demands.

9. Maintain proper drawing registers and material submittal schedules.

10. Ensure submission dates are achieved.

11. Ensure Dubai Municipality safety and design regulations are followed.

12. Maintain proper documentation and archiving of relevant information

Requirements

1. Senior Level Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.

2. Technical knowledge of Auto Cad programmes (i.e, R14 2000) Micro station, MS Office Packages. Adobe Photoshop, 3D Studio Max and animation

3. Self motivated, goal oriented and attention to detail works under minimum supervision

4. Minimum 4-6 years relevant experience.

5. Ability to train and pass on knowledge and experience to others
