The Role
The Role
US$ 115 -- 130k pa tax free (neg) + furnished housing + family 1st class tickets + family benefits + bonus
Our Client is an internationally recognized Dubai based group of companies, whose vision and pioneering concepts has changed the face of shopping, entertainment and leisure in the Middle East. They have 4 new projects about to commence in Egypt, one of which is a large super regional mall.
Reporting to the VP of Property Development, your main role will be to develop Greenfield sites into ground breaking leisure and retail mix use projects assuming full responsibility for all aspects of the development, from site identification, feasibility study, through lease negotiations, design & build, to handover
You will be responsible for the complete development process including conceiving commercially viable options, site evaluations, analysing market research, obtaining official approvals, overseeing/preparation of the outline and detail design, tender, construction, fitting out and equipment coordination through to handover. You will be responsible for the full management of national and internationally based consultants and contractors and be able to prepare and control project budgets effectively and to maintain working projections to ensure that all projects meet or exceed their investment requirements with regard to time, quality and cost.
Other duties include ensuring that the design is cost and operationally efficient and that the technical and performance specifications are achieved through to completion and handover and prepare and negotiate all legal contract and lease documentation to meet the necessary local and international legal protocols.

Requirements
Requirements
To qualify for this unique role, you will be from a design, planning or project management background and have rich experience of having managed the complete development of large retail/mix use property projects (the projects must have had a retail element) You will have the ability to lead multi-skilled teams which include internationally rated consultants, be a sound negotiator and be commercially astute. You will possess a recognised and have a minimum of 10 -- 20 years experience of which a considerable amount of time should have been spent in shopping centre/retail development.
