Key responsibilities: • Develop Commercial & Operational Express Logistics strategy for establishing SPC / ELC across Egypt • Identify and target customers in line with the developed ELC / SPC commercial & operational strategy • To provide training support to the Egyptian commercial team to increase individual capability to identify and see Express Logistics solutions • Ensure that Express Logistics delivers profit to the business in line with target levels. • To assist the Egypt sales team in targeting, selling & implementing solutions for customers. This includes the allocation and management of resource requirements, implementation budgets and implementation timing. • Provide regular updates on project progress to management and sponsors to enable overall project progress monitoring. • To manage the implementation of large, complex customer projects on a local scale against pre-agreed service standards and budgets. • Work closely with country SMT to ensure that appropriate resources, processes and quality systems are in place to complete the day to day business of the ELC • Ensure that CIP is implemented and high level of efficiency is obtained in the ELC's |
RequirementsRequirementsEducational background & work experience • Qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics • 5 years experience in selling logistics solutions as well as operating and implementing • Excellent understanding of the principles of supply chain management. • Strong Selling / Negotiating / Presenting skills • Ability to design solutions • Strong man management and interpersonal skills to interface with diverse teams • Experienced in the cultural aspects of working in Egypt • Extensive business unit product process knowledge • Project management skills including working experience with project software, preferably MS Project. • Good business, operational, economic and analytical skills • Team Player • Results focused If this is the job for you then please APPLY NOW online. |
