Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Salary is AED 20,000 – AED 25,000 + Leave Salary + Gratuity + Airfare + Insurance.

Purpose of Role:
Plan, Develop, and Direct the marketing efforts with financial ownership

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning and Direction for the set Brand portfolio.
- P&L co-responsibility
- Conceptualization and execution of business objectives.
- Ability to brief, communication, media & research agencies
- Collaboration with Operations, Procurement, Business Development, Personnel, and finance with matters pertaining the Brand maintenance and development.
- Monitoring the brand performance and providing analysis towards arising issues.
- Lead a team of brand managers & graphic designer, research & PR managers.
- Writing and disseminating periodic/Ad-Hoc sales and analysis/Recommendation to the involved stakeholders.
- Ability to negotiate and maintain a good working relationship with External Suppliers/Distributers.
- Lead efforts in NPD
- Set/Run a variety of consumer and trade promotions
- Experience in Media campaigns productions
- Ability to position, extend and relaunch of brands
- Channel strategy, Category or Product performance by channel
- 5Ps by channel
- Shopper insight, Retailer perspective
- Competitive benchmarking
- Trade spending strategy
- Budget, Business Planning Process (contribute)
- Document Key Shopper Facts, Understandings and future trends (Retail Environment/Category)
- Define shopper insights that will lead to competitive advantage, share
- Recommend Shopper Insight Research Opportunities by R/E
- Identify Opportunities for Shopper Insight Application
- Define, design and do Post-Promotion Evaluation for Trade Promotions

Requirements

- Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Mass Media, Marketing or General Management.
- 6-8+ Years Experience in a Brand Management & Customer Marketing function at an MNC/FMCG
- Good understanding of the FMCG business.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with Word, Excel and PowerPoint mastery.
- Experience in GCC market is preferable.
- Analytical skills, able to translate raw data into meaningful analysis and provide recommendations.
- Ability to work autonomously, only use guidance on the strategic level.
- Sound understanding of the customers/consumers and their habits/Culture/preferences/buying decisions.
- Creative, outside the box thinker.
- Persuasive, able to connect with people from different backgrounds.
- Visionary, able to envision the Brands evolution in near-mid future.
- Business savvy, and a calculated risk taker.
- Leader within his team, inspiring among his peers.
- Promotes Transparency, Credibility and Respect values in his work relationship.
