Group Shared Service Manager - Finance

Salary- 15000-20000 AED + Benefits as per company and by Law

Our client based in Dubai is a well-known Paints and Chemical company with over 15 years experience with office across MENA region. (Dubai, Saudi, Iraq, Lebanon, Oman, Nigeria, Italy, Kuwait and More)

Due to their expansion they are now seeking an experienced Group Shared Service Manager - Finance to be based in their head office in Dubai. He will be responsible for managing and overseeing the overall aspects of Financial systems of the group which will be centralized.

Due to our expanding portfolio of clients we are now seeking an experienced Shared Services Manager to manage the group financial and accounting management of the company group comprising of seven (7) companies within Oman, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait and the UAE regions.

The ideal candidate responsible for the shared services aspect will support the CEO, Group General Manager, COO and Group Financial Controller in delivering efficient and complaint financial management support for the seven companies as outlined above.

Shared Services Division plays a key role in overseeing group companies financial relationship with its partners and providing management team with up-to-date financial information including monthly management of accounts facilitating management decision making process.

The Finance Division is a crucial department for the organisation and as focal point managing all seven companies within the group the candidate MUST portray professionalism and good practice of ethical traits throughout.

Reporting to the Group Finance Controller

Key Responsibilities

Management
Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
Oversee the operations of the treasury functions, including the design of an organisational structure adequate for achieving the departments goals and objectives.
Oversee the extension of credit to customers

Fund Management
Forecast cash flow positions, elated borrowing needs, and available funds for investment
Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements
Maintain banking relationships
Assist in determining the companys proper capital structure

Budget Management
Manage the preparation of the companys budget
Report to management on variances from the established budget and the reasons for variances
Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction

Financial Analysis
Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company.
Review the performance of competitors and report on key issues to management
Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement
Interpret the companys financial results to management and recommend improvement activities.
Review company bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve the overall level of company throughput.
Assist in the determination of product pricing in relation to features offered and competitors pricing.
Compile key business metrics and report on them to management
Manage the capital budgeting process, based on constraints analysis and discounted cash flow analysis.
Create additional analysis and reports as requested by management
Tax planning to improve profitability of the company.

Requirements

Must have Bachelors Degree within Business and Accounting
Qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA or CMA preferred
Must have experience in handling and managing at least 2- 3 companies as part of shared services within production and manufacturing companies
Must have more than 5 years UAE/ GCC experience working within Finance for medium size businesses
Expertise working with ERP software, SAGE preferred
Exposure in trade financing is preferred
Role may entail travel to companies located within Qatar, Iraq, Oman and Kuwait regions
Portray leadership, training, organisation and negotiation skills set.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel software
The ideal candidate would need to be enthusiastic, a team player and have can do attitude
Arabic speaking males are of preference for this role.
