Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a highly desirable business within the Oil and Gas sector. Our client is looking to hire a Payroll Team Leader to manage the Asia and Pacific region from their shared service unit in Dubai.
As Payroll Team Leader you will take overall management of the payroll team to include responsibilities such as staff recruitment, training and performance management. Within this position you will set and drive standards across the department and deliver effective day to day management of the Accountants and Senior Accounts. You will review and approve all payrolls as per company policy and resolve any potential issues which may occur whilst developing and implementing strategies for the continuous improvement of the payroll services.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a proven track record of Payroll Management experience. Previous experience of managing payroll for the Asia and Pacific region would be advantageous, otherwise it is essential that you have experience of managing payroll across multiple locations outside of the MENA region. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are imperative and ideally you should hold a Payroll qualification.
