Job description / Role
Our client is one of the regions larger diverse Real Estate developers with a focus on hospitality projects across the gulf region. They are currently expanding their hospitality division, hence they are looking for someone to lead that business unit
Role Description
Reporting into the Group Managing Director, your main objective will be to manage the full P&L for the hospitality division whilst overseeing new hotels developments across the region.
You will also be responsible for the following:
- Work closely with the group Managing Director and the Chairman on preparing the annual business plan.
- Manage the hospitality divisions entire operations, which includes both technical and administrative departments.
- Oversee the development lifecycle for new hospitality developments and projects.
- Ensure projects are running efficiently within the agreed timeframe and budgets. This will also require relationship management between stakeholders on these multiple projects
- Implemented best practices of Asset Management and operational efficiencies, leading to strong increase of profitability
- Responsible for managing Legal issues
Due to the nature of this role, you will be expected to work with other business units across the wider business as well as support many different teams when needed.
Requirements
The successful candidate must hold a university degree with a minimum of 15 years of work experience with a Hospitality Operator or a Real Estate Developer.
You must understand the full development cycle from concept all the way through to completion as you will oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Due to the seniority of this role, you must also have the following:
- Previous track record of managing and developing New Hotel concepts
- Proven Track Record of Delivering YOY Results/Growth
- Strong financial & Commercial background - Full P&L Responsibility
