Job description / Role
We are representing a large blue chip international EPC organisation that has extensive projects in the Oil and Gas sector globally. Due to continuous success and successful award of new projects my client seek a Project Director to be based in Oman and to work within the team on Refinery and Petrochemical EPC projects. Responsibilities include:
Overall Responsible for the refinery & petrochemical EPC project
Determine and implement the exact needs of the Client as per Contract & Specification
Ensure that construction activities move according to predetermined schedule
Ensure Project milestones and commercial controls are achieved by effective planning including logistics and execution
Leads project team through a regular system of contract reviews to identify & manage risks, monitor operational performance against the agreed timescales, and instigates corrective action where appropriate
Co-ordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors and labourers.
Always customer oriented structured, systematic and proactive approach to implement any system including ISO
Create the teams, develop the objectives/goals of each and assign individual responsibilities
Requirements
To be of the correct calibre for our client, candidates should be able to demonstrate the following criteria: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) with over 20 years experience in executing Projects with a value of $300 Million refinery & petrochemical projects.
