Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Oversee the preparation and revision of contracts that involve the purchase of sale of goods and services.
Oversee proposal planning and administration of contracts.
Prepare contract briefs and revisions summarizing contractual requirements and budgets.
Track authorizations and correspondence.
Maintain detailed and organized files.
Prepare contract change notices, monitor performance of the contractor, including the reporting and progress
Maintain an audit file for the contract which will include the main contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, payment schedules.
Ensure that contractor is in compliance with legal requirements, Employers requirements and Engineer instructions
Analyze and mitigate risk.
Provide contract summaries and ensure contract execution in accordance with Company policy

Requirements

Engineering or legal background with degree in engineering or law from the distinguished University.
Be able to speak and read French to a high level
Minimum 5 years experience of working in global construction market
Excellent negotiating and facilitation skills
Experience of working on high value large scale engineering projects within marine construction projects
Successful track record in legal representation of major contracts.
Team worker, enthusiastic, customer focused, outcome focused.
Technically and legally competent.
