Senior Executive - Estimations

Job description / Role

URGENTLY REQUIRED SENIOR EXECUTIVES FOR ESTIMATIONS DEPARTMENT IN MULTI-NATIONAL OFFSHORE & MARINE ENGINEERING COMPANY IN QATAR

1) Report to Manager / Asst. Manager Estimation.
2) Prepare quotations in response to clients specifications.
3) Adjusts prices to the limits set by the Manager Estimation.
4) Prepare responses to various queries received from Owners / Agents.
5) If Senior Executive is a group leader, he shall also;
i) Assigns RFQs received from the Manager Estimation to personnel in his Group and.
ii) Monitors the preparation of RFQs assigned to his Group.
6) Perform other duties assigned.

Requirements

1) Project job costing skill
2) Negotiation skills
3) Emotional Quotient skills
4) Understanding of Specification
5) Knowledge of pricing and estimation skills in accordance with Owners specification and requirements.
6) Knowledge on Owners requirements.
7) Knowledge of contractual, legal, insurance & other statutory requirements.
8) Degree/Diploma in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering
9) 5+ years relevant working experience in Maritime Industry
