My client is a leader in treasury & capital markets software and consultancy offerings to the banking sector. They are currently seeking a Regional Head of Services for their Capital Markets suite of products to focus on the MEA region. The role offers a generous tax free package plus excellent benefits.

The Regional Professional Services team looks after a specific Product Family from the SW portfolio: Capital Markets, Enterprise Risk, Investment Management, Core Banking, Transaction Banking or Lending. The team uses a mix of experience and knowledge in financial services business and Capital markets software to provide the adequate solutions to our customers by implementing quality projects and services.
The Regional Head of Services (RHS) will oversee all aspects of running a Product Family services practice for a region. The RHS drives the PS business from a revenue and margin perspective holding responsibility for the services pre sales activities and the delivery of high quality and high performing solution to meet customers business needs.
The RHS will hold full P&L responsibility and will be responsible for delivering revenue, margin, order intake, and customer satisfaction targets. The role holder will be responsible for ensuring successful project delivery and developing a high degree of product expertise and consulting capabilities within his practice. He will have a high degree of autonomy to achieve his targets including capacity planning, recruitment, and priority setting. He will have ownership of both consulting and project management resources, and will be able to allocate his resources as he sees fit. In addition, the RHS will work with sales account management to develop new PS business.

1. Insuring that the Practice meets or exceeds its financial targets (revenue, OI, margin)
2. Insuring that the Practice meets or exceeds its client satisfaction targets
3. Providing the specialized product / business knowledge required to drive customer satisfaction and delivery excellence
4. Promoting and maintaining the highest level of processes, best practices, and knowledge sharing within the Practice to ensure that the quality and consistency of delivery is outstanding at all time
5. Overseeing teams of consultants and project management resources
6. Providing teams with the autonomy, tools, and alignment required to drive successful client outcomes
7. Overseeing project delivery and execution across the practice
8. Overseeing training and career development within the practice
9. Working with resource management to ensure there is sufficient business consulting staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfy the demands of current and future projects

Requirements

Specification (Qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience)

Experience
The highest level of expertise demonstrating the strongest of skills acquired through advanced training and study, typically 10+ years of experience.
Extensive knowledge of the functionality and business application of the Capital Markets SW Products that they lead.
Extensive industry knowledge related to the Capital Markets SW Products they lead.
Strong acquired communication skills and client facing experience to be able to present PS and the product value to clients and to work with other groups within internal organization (particularly Sales and the Proposals Team) in supporting requests for proposals.
A deep understanding of the business drivers affecting their target customer base.

Qualifications & certification
Successful completion of a Bachelors Degree with relevant Business/Banking experience
