Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This is an Divisional Head Office based Senior Management Level position that focuses on the following:
Subcontract Procurement Management
Subcontract Management (Variations, Valuations and Payment)
Subcontract Final Account approval
Main Contract Variation/Contractual Claim approval
Employer Payment application submission/negotiation/agreement
Main Contract Final Account submission/negotiation and agreement
Cost, Revenue and Forecasting
Monthly Project Reporting
Commercial Human Resource Management

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
IQS/RICS Professional Qualification.
Degree in construction related technical discipline-civil, building, construction / Quantity Surveying.

Minimum years of experience:
20 years minimum contracting experience in commercial role- quantity surveying, contract,
administration, cost management, claims management etc., including 5 years overseas experience.

Experience in the region an advantage.
Kind of Experience
Management of large scale construction projects and the inherent teams of Commercial staff
Detailed knowledge and understanding of Contract Administration
Detailed knowledge and understanding of cost control and forecasting
Final Account preparation, negotiation and close out
Contractual Claims preparation, negotiation and close out
Understanding and ability to use computerized cost control systems
Provide commercial assistance and advice on prospective value engineering measure to the Project Director
