Job description / Role

Position: Accountant (ACCA/ICWA/CMA)

Job Purpose: Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures.
Assisting in submitting timely and accurate financial and regulatory reports.
Providing management with monthly management reports
Analyzing GL accounts to ensure integrity, completeness and correctness of data / information.
Handling of daily Accounting activities independently (AP, AR, Banks, etc.)
Performs other duties as and when being told or required.

Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALITIES:
Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting or Finance and qualified or semi qualified in any certifying courses such as ACCA, ICWA, CMA etc.
Strong understanding of accounting theory
3+ years accounting/finance experience.
Hands-on exposure to ERP tools like oracle.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications like MS Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to act and operate independently
