You will be responsible for the conception and execution of prestigious events and marketing a truly luxurious concept. This role oversees the development and implementation of all marketing related activities, ensuring effective positioning of the venue within the industry, whilst establishing and maintaining partnerships to enhance the awareness about the venue and achieve and retrain high levels of customer satisfaction. Although the role reports to the General Manager and the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will be liaising extensively with the Corporate Office. A large part of the role encompasses media relations; continuous liaison with the domestic and international press, creating and maintaining press kits, identifying PR and marketing /sales opportunities through relationships with press and industry professionals and control of all information disseminated on Social Media Platforms as well as the company Website. Additionally, the Marketing Manager, with their team, will be responsible for the design of promotional materials, as well as sourcing of products, ensuring high standards in the creativity and message of the work.

Requirements

Strong organisational skills and numerical ability is required, as the Marketing Manager is responsible for the annual budget of all the events taking place and has to provide detailed reports and monthly summaries to the Management team.

Candidates will be highly presentable, self-starters who are able to work accurately with minimum supervision. You should be passionate about people and committed towards producing results on time and developing the business. A true professional, always projecting that positive image and acting with integrity, you will be able to demonstrate functional excellence and exceed client and customer expectations; a natural can do individual, building relationships internally and externally and fostering teamwork.

Technically, candidates must be in possession of a formal Marketing and PR qualification or equivalent, coupled with three plus years of experience with a marketing environment, preferably within the hospitality/tourism industry. A high standard of IT proficiency is required, showing confidence in working with spreadsheets, databases, accounting and payroll software.

Due to the location, our client is happy to consider applications from candidates resident in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, however, a valid UAE driving licence is a MUST for this role.
