Retail Operations Manager

Job description / Role

Our client has been operating in the retail industry in Dubai for almost 20 years and are the exclusive distributor of a number of famous, luxury brands in the region and they are currently looking for a Retail Operations Manager to join their team.
The main responsibilities held in the position of Retail Operations Manager include managing the store operations in the UAE and Bahrain to ensure they are running profitably and within the company brand guidelines, control of stock across all stores, conducting store audits and setting and monitoring KPIs. Additional responsibilities include;
Leading and motivating the team in order to achieve a fully aligned workforce
Conduct performance appraisals
Manage store openings
Ensure stores are fully maintained
Generate and circulate weekly performance reports

Requirements

Must hold a relevant degree or higher level qualification
5 years work experience within the retail industry
Well versed on Microsoft Office
Knowledge and understanding of the local culture and sensitivities
Understanding of the competition within the regional market
Understanding of fashion and trends
Excellent problem solving skills
Experience of working in a high pressured environment
Strong motivational skills
