Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Description:

Accuracy and quality of all the organization and projects department tasks , run the projects of the company under the supervision of the management and prepare ways to enhance efficiency of process and organization to ensure that the department employees perform their duties and make sure that all the resources are used in the most efficient way.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Production:
- Processing all tasks related to the business and ensuring optimum results through:
* Creating and Maintaining a unified approach to project management through:
Leading the review of project scope, budget, and schedule for compliance with the overall business needs.
Leading the project scope change management process.
Identifies potential risks to the completion of the project, including resources, costs, and systems.
Recommends appropriate solutions.
Leading appropriate and timely written communications with all concerned department managers, throughout the life of the project, through effective use of project status reports, team meeting notes, project charts, risk registers, cost analysis, etc.
Leading projects ensuring that they adhere to the established project methodologies, standards, tools, processes, policies, and procedures. Ensures project management methods are used throughout the project life cycle.
Leading the timely execution of major milestone approvals
Sustain a sense of urgency around project critical paths and issues.
Working with department heads to implement standardized procedures related to project management.
Coordinating medium to large and complex technology related projects between departments to ensure timely and efficient implementation of projects.
Managing planning, scheduling, resource allocation, costing and risk assessment for large to complex companywide projects.
Identify innovative solutions and approaches .
Providing reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, to keep the Top Management informed of the operation and progress of the organization and projects efforts.

Team Management:
- Being the leader of his/her team through:
* Preparing a baseline projects schedule.
* Assessing and developing on a regular basis the technical, managerial and communication skills of his/her team through on the job coaching.
* Following up on conducting regular meetings with his/her team to develop communication between them.
* Ensuring that the staff can cope with the work load and stress by offering them support , motivation and appreciation.
* Keeping a good communication level with other departments and networks.
* Appraising the staff on a yearly basis to make salary reviews, bonus and promotion proposals.
* Reinforcing team spirit between his/her team to ease up any conflict situation that might appear.
* Investigate projects alternatives.
* Develop work breakdown structures and define tasks , components and dependencies.
* Setting direction for his/ her department and also influence people to follow that direction.
* Setting the example for his/her team.

Audit:
- Ensuring the quality and safety of all the Organization and Projects processes through:
* Assuring that all the Organization and Projects tasks are complying with the set quality indicators and priorities.
* Conducts quality assurance for tasks and deliverables.
* Emphasizing that the procedures, rules and regulations must be known and applied by the staff .
* Maintaining the set controls and performance indicators.
* Ensuring Permanent supervision is performed in due time and actions are taken if any problems detected.

Organization Development:
- Anticipating any future problems or need for change in the organization and setting action plan to face it through:
* Serving as a change agent for continuous improvement through improved/enhanced.
* Develop organizational awareness (e.g : understanding of the organization's structure and politics).
* Apply an understanding of organizational realities to achieve project goal.

Requirements

Required Education:

- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a closely related field.
- MBA and /Or PMP are additional advantages.

Required Experience:

- Minimum 8 years of professional technical experience involving systems analysis, or project management required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that could provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- With a previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role , Insurance and/or Banking background is preferable.
