International Commercial Stone Contracting Firm
Location: Macau
Competitive Expatriate Salary Package
Project award of a major USD4B casino project in Macau has created this opportunity as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with our client, an international commercial stone contracting firm. This project comprises a new casino, 1,700 key hotel, Performance Lake and other common area facilities. This role as Senior Quantity Surveyor is responsible for all quantity surveying on the stone package for this pivotal project.
Reporting to the Vice President Operations and managing a QS team, this role is responsible for the following:
Responsible for preparing all Specifications, Tender documents and Bill of Quantities
Commercial control of subcontract packages
Maximise value recovery, implement cost control and cash management
Measurement, Valuation, Payments
Feasibility reports through to Final Accounts
Compile financial reports and documents and agree Final Accounts
Process and resolve contractual claims
Manage Subcontract Order Documentation and Accounts.
Requirements
The attributes we seek comprise:
Degree in Construction, Engineering or comparable experience
Minimum of 10 years experience in surveying and estimating within the commercial fit out sector.
Casino or hotel experience required.
Candidates with expatriate experience required with Asia experience being highly desirable.
Bilingual skills in English / Cantonese highly regarded but not essential.
Candidates with expatriate experience in South East Asia will be highly regarded.
