Design and Development Optimization Manager

Job description / Role

An outstanding opportunity for an experienced Design Professional to join the largest construction business in the Middle East. This position will Develop and Manage BIM plan to be implemented 3D parametric and 4D simulations to generate coordinated drawing in each technical trade and support the department up to date on BIM procedure using one or more BIM applications. This position will be reporting to Senior BIM Manager.

Job responsibilities include:
- Plan and propose implementation strategies that integrate between Engineering Modeling applications and Oracle ERP platforms.
- Track and adapt project learning lessons log for new projects.
- Create Projects-BIM implementation plan and strategies. Get it approved and Issued.
- Manage integration support project teams on Planning and other related ERP coordination processes.
- Provide awareness among the technical teams on various BIM processes enhance Design and Development Processes.
- Maintain relationship with IT trades and coordinate for proper support.

Requirements

- Bachelor degree or higher in engineering discipline Civil or Architectural.
- Certifications in Autodesk related products such as Revit. And Oracle PCM and ECM (compulsory)
- Knowledge or certification of software (e.g. Adobe Acrobat Pro, MS-Office, MS-Project, MS-Visio, Photoshop, etc.) Or other programs for related to design and development. (preferable but not compulsory)

Total of seven (7) years minimum of BIM & CADD related experiences that should include.
- Minimum five (5) years experience as Oracle Support with IT Experience.
- Minimum seven (7) years experience as Design / development in construction industry and Data Management.
- Minimum five (5) Review and develop Design processes using BIM.
- Fluency in English and/or Arabic language.
