Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a global institutional investor, managing an investment portfolio that is diversified across more than two dozen asset classes and sub-categories. Candidate will be responsible for:

Providing day to day analytic and administrative support to CDD Traders.

Ensure the accurate and timely input of non-STP trades into trade capture system.

Process all trade life cycle events in trade capture system.

Liaise with all departments on operational issues and advise trading and investment departments on resolution where required.

Trade performance review and exclusions in the system provided by ISD.

Perform timely reconciliations.

Perform trade comparison and activity analysis.

Ensure internal data base containing trades information is updated and complete.

Prepare reports for CDD Traders, Management and other departments.

Utilise operational knowledge of all products to provide effective support to CDD Traders.

Constant review of the processes linked to deal management in order to automate and secure them when possible.

Evaluate risk management procedures with a focus on continuous improvement.

Monitor and update procedure documentation where required.

Raise and document any operational inefficiency, suggest procedures to eliminate risk. Provides constructive challenge to ideas related to own role and is developing sound opinions on ideas related to own team.

Strategic and tactical project involvement.

Carry out other duties as required.

Requirements

Required:

University degree in Economics, Business Administration or Accounting

A minimum of 3 years relevant experience preferably gained at an Asset Manager or Hedge Fund in a similar support role.

Knowledge of fixed income and equity markets.
