Draftsman

Job description / Role

Draftsman is a person who is responsible for making detailed mechanical or technical
drawings and also drafting legal documents (Quotations). Produce client drawings from design
information, per specifications, and in accordance with good industry practices. Create and
modify solid models and detailed drawings from sketches, models, layouts or notes provided by
the Architect or Engineer.

Specific Duties:

- Operates computer-aided drafting equipment or conventional drafting station to produce
designs, working drawings, charts, forms and records.
- Estimate costs, schedules and other elements associated with civil works.
- Develop design ideas and create design presentations.
- Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures.
Provides documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications.
- Prepare specific presentations and quotation as per the client requirements.
- Respond professionally in emails and phone inquiry.

Requirements

- Diploma in Civil Engineering
- At least 1 year minimum Civil Draftsman/ 3D
- AutoCAD Designer experience.
- Back ground on Civil works or Facility Management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- 3D & 2D AutoCAD exterior and interior rendering design
- Flexible - Able to multi task
- Able to communicate and comprehend well in
- English
- Can work with less supervision and in under
- Pressure efficiently
- Knowledge on cost estimation and document controlling
