Job description / Role

My client, a market leader within the dairy industry, is currently searching for a Category Manager to join their growing team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a truly innovative Food and Beverage organization that are going through considerable growth.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, your key responsibilities will be to:

Develop and drive category strategy through the creation and interpretation of superior market, consumer and business insights
Identify and deliver category growth strategies to exploit full potential for the market in the organisation
Deliver the category plan to direct and guide all marketing strategies
Liaise with the sales and trade marketing functions to develop customer categories and maximise profitability for both parties
Communicate category plans effectively across the wider business
Liaise with regional category management to secure implementation of best practise and adherence to brand and category guidelines
Responsible for aligning with suppliers of activation marketing services
Communicate Category Plan to key stakeholders

Requirements

In order to be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 3 years of successful Category / Marketing experience within the Food and Beverage Industry. Furthermore, you will have experience within KSA and have developed strong leadership and communication skills. You will be a results orientated professional who is proactive and analytical in your approach.
