Our client is a global network of sports channels with headquarters across the Middle East, France, Indonesia and the US is currently undergoing significant executive talent growth given its formation in 2012. The firm currently operates and provides services across the Middle East, North Africa, France, USA, Indonesia, Canada, Hong Kong and Thailand. The Human Resource Team are now looking to recruit a Senior Training & Development Officer to their HR and Financial Affairs team to provide high level assistance for the coordination of training and development solutions and for planning, organizing and overseeing appropriate training plus record keeping and reporting.

Reporting to the Head of Training & Development; this role is responsible for the following:

Receive training requests from sectors / departments and prepare it in custom forms through the System adopted.
Register staff to the formal and E-learning courses and suggest self-development options when appropriate.
Manage the communication and logistics of ad-hoc courses.
Evaluate quality and effectiveness of training solutions.
Maintain records and relationships with those in the Talent pipeline.
Receive all incoming transactions by regular mail or e-mail and send it to the training supervisor.
Save all documents in the system and certificates in the employee file.
Coordinate the scheduling and planning of training and development initiatives for company staff in coordination with the Training Centre.
Develop and deliver course content for development solutions.
Contribute to the development and implementation of new programs including National Development initiatives.

Requirements

The attributes we seek for suitably qualified candidates comprise:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or comparable from a recognized University
A minimum of 4 years experience in human resources preferably in the field of Training and Development.
Extensive knowledge in performance management systems, specifically performance appraisal systems as well as experience in HR policies and procedures.
Experience in the MENA region will be highly regarded with knowledge of Qatar labour laws and regulations being desirable.
Exceptional communication skills with strong people and negotiation abilities required.
Bilingual language skills in English and Arabic. .
Ability multi task, work under pressure and problem solve are essential as well as the ability to work within a multi-cultural environment.
