Job description / Role
My client is a major small size PQS/PMC Consulting firm here in the UAE. We have looked at a number of appointments through the year with them covering such projects and City Walk in down town Dubai and well as Theme parks / Leisure and cultural.
We now have another appointment with them to look at a variety of projects in Hospitality and tourism with a focus on the cost planning/ estimation etc through to post contract cost control and commercial management, also to provide general post contract commercial support to the Commercial Managers in terms of assessment of interim valuations, valuation of variations and negotiation and agreement of varied work values with the contractors etc, post contract cost control including, Assessment and review of contractors interim payments including collation of site information, Highlight, assessing and reporting on potential and actual variations, Cost reporting to commercial manager on all actual and potential variations, progress meetings.
Package will be in the region of 42-50K AED top end for a strong Intermediate / senior with 15 years experience.
Requirements
1. Degree in Quantity Surveying from a UK University.
2. Professionally accredited by RICS/ MCIArb.
3. Minimum 5 years experience in PQS/ PMC environment.
4. Experience working in International / Middle East environment.
5. 8-12 years QS experience.
