Employment: Full Time

Leading engineering company acting all over the world , the groups goal is to build an international multi-specialist engineering firm able to offer its clients in the public and private sectors an original approach to engineering, project management and consultancy that meets the expectations of a fast-changing world. It conducts its assignments in nine markets: building construction, water, environment, energy, maritime, urban development, transportation, industrial facilities and multi-site projects. The groups full-time staff members currently exceed 3000 and turnover reached 352m in 2013.

In a general context of growth, the position described below, based in Muscat (Oman), may evolve with interesting opportunities.

In strong relationship with the Middle East Financial Manager, Project Managers and bookkeepers you are in charge of:

- Organizing monthly accounting closing.
- Organizing and preparing Financial reports and forecasts.
- Performing project follow-up and analysis : production, profit, cash.
- Following-up accounts receivables, accounts payables.
- Preparing the financial statements for consolidation purpose (every 6 months) and for local requirements.
- Liaise with local accountants to check the all tax requirements are met.
- Organizing accounting audits.
- Performing risk management.
- Preparing cash projections, follow-up and gap analysis.
- Make sure the Groups procedures and financial tools are implemented locally.
- Developing and implementing all appropriate procedures and controls.
- Performing global performance analysis and providing recommendations to General Manager.

Requirements

- 4 years or more in a similar position ideally in an auditing company.
- Results oriented with solid analytical skills.
- Strong accounting background.
- Strong attention to consistency, quality, accuracy and data integrity.
- Master degree in Finance / accounting - Business school.
- Fluent in English.
- Expert in MS Excel and functional in MS Office.
- Accounting system experience : Microsoft Dynamics AX (ideally).
