Purchasing Supervisor

Job description / Role

Support the Group Head of Procurement and the Head of Marketing / Group Marketing Manager in the procurement of marketing products and services for the Group by processing all high value purchase orders on a timely basis, with proper commercial evaluation, in line with Company standards, and ensure that fair market value is secured for such spend.

Act as an interface between the marketing team members and the vendors to ensure that all purchase requests for goods and services are clearly understood and communicated to the vendors and all orders are processed promptly to ensure their timely delivery and effective execution. Provide value added commercial inputs to the marketing team.

Requirements

Minimum 4-5 years experience in procurement of marketing products & services in an FMCG / F&B company.
Local market knowledge of products and services to enable selection of the right vendors for each type of spend/activity.
Very good network and contacts with local vendors.
Commercial astuteness and good negotiation skills to secure best fair value for quality products/services by leveraging buying power.
Computer literate on Outlook, Excel.
Confident individual with balanced pragmatic view.
Pleasing personality with an ability to get along with all without compromising on his/her own independence or ethics and adherence to company standards.
Excellent communicator in verbal and written mediums.
Team Player who can earn respect and is comfortable working in results originated environment.
Bachelors degree at least.
