Project Manager

Our client is an Oil & Gas Exploration & Production company and they are currently seeking an experienced Projects Manager to be based in the UAE office.

As Projects Manager you will be responsible for:
Leading the PMT organization, in line with company's vision and rapid expansion plans.
Oversee studies for new projects development and surface facilities.
Develop detailed estimates leading to funding analysis and approval.
Responsible for project development from preliminary engineering to detailed designs, construction, commissioning, and handover to Operations.
Establish project procedures and policies, and oversee contractors' selection criteria and approvals.
Prepare contracting plans and strategies for solicitation, evaluation and award of contracts for detail engineering, procurement, and construction.
Manage contractor preparation of detailed design drawings, material specifications and procurement, and/or construction bid packages.
Manage all project related activities and provide project leadership during all phases. Execute capital projects according to scope, schedule and budget.

Requirements

Candidates are to be degree qualified in engineering with strong experience of projects management in the upstream oil industry. You will have an in-depth knowledge of engineering standards and industry practices and the ability to coordinate and lead multiple projects. Experience in engineering and installation/commissioning of plant upgrades is essential as well as previous Middle East experience. Experience of working with independent and large Oil & Gas Operators is highly desirable.
