Job description / Role
MEP Engineer leading contractor
Our client is one of Qatar oldest and most respected main contractors operating across construction, infrastructure and MEP sectors.
Due to continued growth and development, they are now looking to recruit an experienced MEP Engineer to join their team in Doha.
Duties will include:
Review preliminary drawings and specifications
Estimate the costs of buildings and infrastructure projects
Analyze data and resources that may have influence on costs
Estimate the costs of other factors that may increase overall cost
Make decisions regarding sequence of operations, physical constraints at the site and crew size
Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, subcontractors and consultants
Negotiate with vendors to obtain the best price
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
A minimum of 15 years industry experience.
A background with established contractors
Good knowledge in MS-Office packages
Good communication skills Should be fluent in verbal & written English
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Package is negotiable on experience, but will be highly competitive.
