Job description / Role
Our client is a world renowned media organisation that has a global presence and is well established in the Middle East.
We are now recruiting a corporate and public Events Manager for their expanding organisation.
Responsibilities:
Developing quotations for enquiries and negotiating terms to secure sales opportunities to meet the annual events related targets
Prepare and manage events budgets
Planning, organising, planning and management of events
Identifying new creative ideas for events
Development of close partnerships and sponsorships
Preparing proposals, tenders and quotes
Selection of vendors, suppliers and contractors
Working closely with the Marketing department to create quality media productions for advertising and publicity campaigns
Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
7 10 years experience of developing, executing and managing detailed operational plans for corporate and public events
Minimum 2 3 years experience of corporate and public events in the UAE with a well-established events management organisation
Financial management of budgets, sales forecasts and revenue
Business development / sales experience
Candidate Profile:
Candidate must be of a Western nationality origin
Ability to work extended and out of office hours and weekends
A valid UAE driving license and own a personal car
Education:
Bachelors Degree
